"Are you ready for the utter most badass Gameboy Color experience you can feast your mind upon?

Make your way through 4 deadly rooms and conquer Puffy's Tower of Doom!

Can you save Broski's friends and put a stop to Puffy's evil regime?"

Piggo: Tower of Doom is a GB Studio platformer game by SpagDev and Piggo, and is a conclusion to something labeled "Piggo lore". It follows Broski as he embarks on a quest to defeat the evil genius penguin Puffy and her goons, as well as save his friends.

The game features four levels and two endings, seven bosses to beat and seven friends for you to save, as well as lore !! Which surprisingly gets quite deep for a small gameboy game. It's a pretty fun and challenging gameboy experience overall.

This game is important to me for two reasons. One: the developers of the game are actually people I know, and two: I was sorta involved with the development of it! (I drew the cover art... two years ago)

The story had me really invested since the trailer of it, this glitchy mysterious aesthetic mixed with the absurdity of the original lore circles back from "this is ridiculous" to being totally badass and awesome... Doesn't help that the OST is spectacular, too! (Check out SpagDev's music)

I am a sucker for 'cringe' or wacky media, which makes sense as to why I got so obsessed with this game :p

The characters are sometimes funny, sometimes pitiable, and sometimes genuinely despicable (in a good way I promise). They are self aware enough to realize their situation is totally nonsensical, but also have no choice but to take it seriously.

Download the game here. The game also supports mobile and has a rom for you to play on an actual gameboy color!
